Bug reports, tool suggestions and questions are all welcome. Please do not send me your files.
The most reliable way to reach me is email: hello@privateonlinetools.com.
There is no contact form on this page on purpose. A form would mean a server receiving and storing what you write, which is exactly the arrangement the rest of the site exists to avoid.
Reporting a problem
If a tool is broken, these details make it much easier to fix, and none of them require sending me your file:
- The address of the page you were on.
- Your browser and operating system, and their versions.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- The kind and rough size of the file — "a 40-page scanned PDF, about 60 MB" is perfect.
Please do not email me the file itself. I do not want a copy of your document, and a bug report almost never needs one. If reproducing it truly requires a sample, a file that shows the same problem but contains nothing private is the right thing to send.
Suggesting a tool
If there is a job you keep having to hand to a site that uploads your files, I would like to hear about it. Those requests are the main way the list of tools grows.
Privacy and legal
Questions about the privacy policy or the terms go to the same address, and I answer them myself.
